Terms of Service
These terms explain how to use the website, what the grant and AI tools can and cannot promise, and the responsibilities that come with using them.

GrantX is an educational and technology initiative operated by Power Deck in India. Power Deck provides the services offered through GrantX.
These Terms of Service govern your use of GrantX, including the website, grant directory, learning content, contact forms, newsletter, AI chat, and voice features.
By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
GrantX is a founder education and discovery resource. The content is provided for general information and does not constitute legal, financial, tax, accounting, investment, grant-writing, or professional advice.
Grant details can change without notice. You are responsible for verifying eligibility, deadlines, documents, scheme terms, application requirements, and funding conditions on official government, incubator, or program websites before acting.
We do not guarantee that any grant is available, suitable for you, accurate at the time you read it, or that you will be shortlisted, approved, funded, or supported by any program.
Accounts are available only to people aged 18 or older. Creating an account requires confirmation that you are 18 or older and agreement to these Terms of Service. Existing users do not repeat that confirmation during normal login. Signed-out contact forms ask you to confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy; this is not an age declaration. The coming-soon launch notification form does not require age confirmation or create an account. Privacy requests can be made without an account, including by a lawful guardian.
Some features require you to sign in with Google or Auth0.
You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for activity that happens through your signed-in session.
We may restrict, suspend, or remove access if we believe an account is being used to abuse the service, bypass limits, interfere with security, or violate these terms.
You can request account deletion through your account settings or our public privacy contact. After verification, access is closed and deletion begins. Records required by law are kept separately with restricted access until their retention period ends. Account deletion does not automatically refund payments.
When paid plans are available, you must sign in before checkout. The Plans page shows the price, access period, chat allowance, and available payment modes before you pay.
Pro may be available as a one-time purchase for a stated access period or as an automatically renewing subscription. A one-time purchase does not renew.
You may cancel an active recurring Pro subscription at any time through your Account billing settings or the Plans page. Upon cancellation, auto-renewal is immediately disabled, and you retain full Pro access until the end of your current paid billing period.
Only one paid Pro access period may be active at a time. We may decline or prevent duplicate or overlapping checkout attempts to avoid duplicate charges.
If a renewal payment fails, access remains available only until the end of the already-paid period. Once the paid period ends, the account returns to the Free plan and its then-applicable chat allowance.
Payments, recurring-payment mandates, and refunds are processed by Razorpay. Your use of Razorpay is also subject to Razorpay's applicable terms and policies.
Subscription cancellation and payment refunds are separate. Cancelling a recurring subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current paid period.
Refunds are not self-service. Submit a request through the Contact page under Billing / Refund using the email address associated with your account and include the relevant payment reference so that our support team can review it.
A full refund may be approved for a duplicate or incorrect charge, a payment collected after a valid cancellation, or a material failure to provide the purchased Pro access. Change-of-mind requests are reviewed case by case. Partial refunds are not offered.
Once approved by our support team, refunds are initiated via Razorpay to the original payment method. They are normally credited within 5 to 7 business days, although your bank or payment provider may take longer. Approved refunds end the related Pro access immediately.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-excludable consumer rights that apply to you.
Submit a billing or refund requestThe AI assistant and voice features are experimental support tools. They may produce incomplete, outdated, or incorrect answers.
AI responses are not a substitute for official scheme documents, professional advice, or your own review of requirements.
Do not submit highly sensitive personal, financial, health, identity-document, confidential, or third-party data unless it is necessary and you have the right to share it.
Voice input may be transcribed by third-party speech-to-text services, and live voice sessions may use LiveKit. Saved transcripts may appear in your chat history.
You may submit messages, contact form entries, chat prompts, voice transcripts, feedback, links, and other content to the website.
You are responsible for the content you submit and must have the rights and permissions needed to share it.
You grant us permission to process, store, display, and transmit your submitted content as needed to operate the website, respond to you, provide chat and voice features, protect the service, and improve reliability.
Community-submitted grant opportunities undergo editorial review before publication. To maintain the accuracy and usefulness of the database, Power Deck may reject a submission, edit or standardize its wording and details, or update or retire it later without liability. Submission does not guarantee publication or continued listing.
You agree not to misuse the website, attack or probe its systems, bypass authentication or rate limits, scrape or copy the service at scale, submit spam, upload harmful content, impersonate others, or use the service for unlawful activity.
You also agree not to use the AI or voice features to generate harmful, deceptive, infringing, or unlawful content.
The website may link to government portals, incubator pages, grant documents, YouTube videos, WhatsApp, Google sign-in, AI providers, LiveKit, and other third-party services.
We do not control third-party websites or services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, fees, decisions, or grant outcomes.
Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
The GrantX name, branding, page design, original explanations, course structure, and other original website materials belong to GrantX or its contributors, unless stated otherwise.
Government scheme names, documents, official links, and third-party materials belong to their respective owners.
You may use the website for personal or internal founder research. You may not copy, resell, repackage, or commercially exploit substantial parts of the website without permission.
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we may send practical updates about grants, lessons, community notes, or related resources to your account email. Every message includes a passwordless unsubscribe link.
If you contact us, we may use your message and contact details to respond, triage feedback, improve the website, or follow up on the topic you selected.
We may change, pause, remove, or discontinue any part of the website at any time.
We try to keep the service useful and accurate, but it may contain errors, broken links, unavailable pages, outdated grant information, downtime, or interrupted third-party integrations.
The website is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, availability, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
You use the website and any information from it at your own discretion and risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GrantX and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, grant rejection, business interruption, or reliance on inaccurate information.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and delete personal data. Please read it together with these terms.
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India, unless mandatory consumer or data protection laws in your location require otherwise.
We may update these terms as the website changes. The updated date at the top of the page shows when these terms were last revised.
Continuing to use the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
